There was a lot going on this weekend. For starters today I have officially dropped 25.1 pounds!!
AND…I received the confirmation email that I got into the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco!!!
13.1 miles here I come!
I was really nervous and scared I was not going to get in because the entry works as a raffle, but I got in!
Now the hard stuff begins, training and running until your legs become jello.
This is my FAVORITE sale!

This weekend I also celebrated my aunt’s 40th and my great aunt’s 70th Birthday!
Their birthdays are on the same day, so every year the family celebrates all together at a family friendly restaurant. This year they chose Chili’s.
As a 40th birthday present to my aunt I agreed to take care of her two youngest daughters for four days while they celebrated her birthday in Las Vegas.
Aren’t I such a sweet niece 🙂
So…this morning was a little rough. I woke up at 7 am to get myself ready for the day, got all the girls things together (lunches, backpacks, clothes, ect.), got them up, feed them, changed them, and got them both in the car.
Although I was tired I was also super excited to because I was heading to the Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale!
We made it out the door on time, at 8 sharp! I took the little one to daycare and then dropped the older one off at Galileo camp! This camp has been going on for years, I used to go when I was younger!
Once I dropped them off I headed over to my favorite coffee shop, Peet’s, read for a little bit, talked to a friend over the phone, and after an hour in the coffee shop I sped off to Nordstrom!
Here you can read all about my purchases from the Anniversary Sale!
Friday and Saturday were two long days filled with activities with the girls. After picking the girls up from day care I took them home, showered them, and then we went out to eat. We met up with my oldest cousin and her son at Paner. We all ate dinner together and then traveled to Mt. View to watch a movie in the park.
We watched the Disney film “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”. Its a great family movie!
Saturday, we woke up, had some breakfast and then headed out off the house again. We met up with 5 other family members to see the newest Minion movie! The little kids in our family are obsessed with the Minions and Despicable Me.
Soon after we headed out to celebrate my great aunts 70th Birthday!
This was a big party! She had lots of food, drinks, a magic show for kids, mariachi, and of course lots of dancing.
I had a great weekend, but I am now ready to head home and relax!
Hope you all had a great long weekend!
