Over the summer my cousin and went kind of crazy on Groupon ordering anything that sounded fun to do with the family.
Well one of the Groupon’s I bought was…
A RAFTING TRIP FOR 6!
Five cousins and I, from ages 7 to 27, all went white water rafting (level I and II) on the Stanislaus River’s.
The company we choose for the rafting was River Journey Adventures. They were great!
When we got to the parking lot we submitted our forms, turned in our Groupon and all we paid for was the $5 parking and a $2 river fee for each person.
Just to give you an idea of how much we spent on the trip, we only paid $85 for the Groupon + the $2 (per person) river fee + the $5 parking fee. Wit out the Groupon we would have had to pay Price: $29 – $34 per person plus the additional$2 (per person) river fee and the $5 parking fee. In the end, I think we did pretty good choosing the Groupon.
Fortunately we picked a great weekend. It was hot which made the trip amazing because we had so many water fights between ourselves and between other boats.
Here are some fun pictures we captures of the trip (some were taken by me others by River Journey Adventures!).
The six of us right getting ready to get back on the water after lunch.
We ran in to a few branches at the beginning trying to figure out how to steer the boat.
At the end of the trip we got back to our car changed and because it was still 101 degrees at 5pm we decided to stop for some ice cream at the cutest ice cream parlor, Knight Ferry Creamery & Sweets.
They got a front room, where you order, and a back room with many many books, games, and extra seating. If you have a chance definitely go check it out!
Well, this is it for me today! Thanks for reading!
