On My Radar

Here’s what’s been on my radar this week!

ONE // Behind-the-Scenes Photos from Gilmore Girls

The Gilmore Girl: A Year In the Life is only a few months away! So why not celebrate the upcoming new episodes with some fun pictures from the cast.

All new episodes will debut on November 25, 2015.

TWO // “Where is the Love” Remake

Remember when this song first came out in 2001. Well now after so much gun violence and hate crimes, they’ve brought it back! The Black Eyed Pea’s have collaborated with other celebrities including Jaden Smith,DJ Khaled, Usher, Jamie Foxx, Diddy, and Kendal Jenner on this amazing new video. The Music video is available to watch on Apple Music.

THREE // Robert Mitchell’s Incredible Story

Robert Mitchell is one Stanford’s Football’s volunteer and his story is pretty incredible. After an accident Mitchell suffered permanent brain damage and he eventually gravitated toward the Cardinal Football team. Since then, many staff members have taken him under there wing. While reading the article shared by Stanford’s athletic program, it reminded me of the semi-biographical movie Radio, a movie about James Robert Kennedy, of how a man in a similar position as Mitchell was able to inspire colleagues, players, coaches, and community members.

FOUR // Finding out that your Olympic idol is also her sister!

This is an incredible story of a very talented, driven and young woman who discovers she’s related to one of the Magnificent Seven, the US Gymnast team at the 1996 Olympics, Dominique Moceanu. Jen Brikers story is very unique because she was born without legs and was immediately given up for adoption, but to her nothing was impossible.
