I am kind of just… floating by right now. I’m running purely on adrenaline (well that and espresso). I’m exhausted from being up every two hours at night with Teddy and really quite overwhelmed with a lot of other things going on in my life at the moment. I have a “OMG what was I thinking?” moment every now and then and then Teddy will snuggle into my arms and suddenly I know why I have him and everything else kind of doesn’t matter.
Other than drowsiness, I’, hoping this upcoming week will be more productive than this one. I have a lot of things on my to-do list which need to get crossed off ASAP. Maybe it’s time to start using the bullet journal concept?
Anyways, here’s what has been on my radar this week:
So much girl power over here. -Six-year-old Edith Fuller is the youngest person ever to qualify for the Scripps National Spelling Bee. I don’t know what I’m more impressed by: her ability to spell or her ability to keep her cool under pressure at just six years old!
If you’ve ridden any New York subway lately, chances are good that you’ve been held momentarily by a station’s dispatcher. This college graduate missed his ceremony because of a malfunction, but his family, friends, and other passengers decided to give the graduate an impromptu commencement ceremony!
THREE // Reese Witherspoon‘s surprise visit to her old dorm room
A few weeks ago Reese was on Stanford’s campus (she attended Stanford in the mid-1990s) speaking to the students the Graduate School of Business, but she couldn’t resist making a stop at her old dorm room.
Google’s former in-house therapist revealed the number one thing most people talk about in therapy… and it’s kind of surprising, but in a very good way.
The Golden State Warriors played their first game last night against the Cleveland Cavaliers and guess what?! They won game 1! I don’t follow basketball very closely, but I do enjoy watching the Finals and I love to see clips on what the next Stephen Curry (aka Trent Fuller) is up to. Yesterday he got to spend the day with the Warriors interviewing players, coaches, and staff. Look’s like I’m not the only one who thinks he’s cute.
Anything fun on your radar this week?
