BOSTON MARATHON: TRAINING WEEK 11

Foam Rolling…I very much dislike it, it’s what I call the necessary evil. I’ve been avoiding it all though my training because it’s one of my least favorite thing in the world, but time has come to start using it again. I’m not using everyday, although I know I should be, but for now we’re meeting every other day.

This Saturday I also participated in a trail run. Since my long run this weekend was 15 miles I went ahead and signed up for the half marathon and then ran three miles once I got home.

Here’s what my run looked like for this week:

Monday

  • Notes: Took advantage of the hills on the course and did some hill repeats.

Thursday

  • Mileage: 3 Miles

  • Course: Treadmill

Friday – No Run

Saturday – two separate runs

  • Mileage: 2.16 Miles
  • Time: 24:00
  • Course: Palo Alto Neighborhood

Sunday – Gentle non-running cardio at the gym
