BOSTON MARATHON: TRAINING WEEK 17

While in Boston I took all my time exploring the city and didn’t so any of my weekly runs, so when I came back home I had a lot of catching up to do.

We’re only two weeks away from Boston and now that I’ve completed my longest run, 20 miles, it’s finally taper time! Runs are going to get shorter and shorter from now. Yayyy!

Here are the runs I completed this week:

Wednesday

  • Mileage: 3.23 Miles
  • Time: 32:16
  • Course: Palo Alto Neighborhood

Thursday

  • Mileage: 6.4 Miles
  • Time: 58:23
  • Course: Stanford Dish

Friday

  • Mileage: 3 Miles
  • Time: 31:41
  • Course: Treadmill

Saturday

  • Mileage: 12.87 miles
  • Time: 2:42:14
  • Course: Treadmill

Along with all the running I missed at the beginning of the week, I had a very large stack of mail and many packages waiting for me, like this one:
