On My Radar

Happy Friday, friends! Thought I’d share some highlights from this week:

  • The Boston Marathon is 9 days away and I leave in 6 days! I’ve been fighting a cold this week but I’m still tapering and hoping this cold will go away before I take off to Boston.
  • My next adventure has been booked! I’ll be traveling to Alaska in July with my sorority little, Delaney. We’re traveling to Anchorage, Ketchikan, and we’ve planned some stops in between. If you’ve been to Alaska and have any recommendations please send them our way!
  • Giants Race shared a new running event, 60 For 60. It’s a virtual event, so anyone can participate. All you have to do is run 60 miles before the before the All Star Break (July 13th). Have I mentioned the size of the medal?! It’s huge!

Here’s what’s been on my radar:

ONE // 7-Year-Old Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro

This is such an amazing story and I am so impressed.  At age 7 this little girl climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with her mom to honor her late dad and she made history! She’s the youngest girl to climb all 19,341 feet. If you’re wondering, yes this is something I already have on my bucket list.

TWO // A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2… on NETFLIX

I absolutely loved the Lemony Snicket series growing up. Such quirky, sad stories that were highly entertaining. Not going to lie, I loved the movie too. I watached Season 1 and liked it, but Season 2 is so much better (and it’s longer)!

THREE // ASICS x Liberty Floral

ASICS and Liberty Floral just realized a collection and… I’m obsessed. My workout clothing/shoe collection has grown to a size I never imagined it would and I am loving these Liberty Floral sneaks!

FOUR // Boy With Cancer Took Picture With MLB Star Reunites With Him 13 Years Later

Every baseball player has a story of what made them fall in love with the game, the  story of Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Devin Smeltzer is a bit more unique.

FIVE// Astronauts Answer 50 Of The Most Googled Questions About Space

This is a fun video of  6 NASA astronauts answering 50 the most Googled questions about space such as; Does space ever end? How much the space shuttle weigh? Can birds fly in space? How much money do astronauts make??
