This was a relaxed and easy week tapering. I did have a little bit of set back – I got a cold over the weekend and was not feeling well at all Tuesday. I took Tuesday and Wednesday off to rest and I made my Thursday run shorter. Instead of running 5-7 miles on Thursday I had to cut the run shorter because I still wasn’t feeling very well.
I completed my last long run on Saturday, split it between Palo Alto and Stanford. I took it easy, ran at marathon pace, and it felt good.
