BOSTON MARATHON: TRAINING WEEK 19

The Boston Marathon is in 2 DAYS!

Tapering went well this week, didn’t run too much because I was prepping for my trip and traveling, but I feel ready for this race!

At this point I’m a little concerned about the weather – it’s not looking pretty, but I’ve brought some extra gear to keep me dry through out the course.

Here’s what I did for my last week of training:

Monday

  • Mileage: 3 Miles
  • Time: 32:57
  • Course: Treadmill

Tuesday

  • Mileage: 5.42 Miles
  • Time: 1:14:06
  • Course: Stanford Dish
  • Note: I walked from work to the Dish, ran the Dish, and walked back.

Saturday

  • Mileage: 5K
  • Time: 37:59
  • Course: BAA 5K Course
  • Note: Took it easy during the race and ran with friends.
