I can’t believe October is almost over! It hasn’t felt like fall at all here in CA. We’ve had great weather, high 80’s, but I’m ready for warm sweaters and riding boots. However, I don’t think I’ll get to wear them any time soon.
I’m headed to FL this weekend to spend some much needed time with friends back in DeLand, but before that I’ve got a marathon to run.
Here’s what was on my radar this week:
ONE // The Haunting of Hill House
I binge watched this series the weekend it came out and LOVED IT! I haven’t been able to talk much about it because none of my friends had watched it. Over the weekend I finally got updated that they’ve finished it and now that’s all we talk about! One of my friends sent me this Buzzfeed article and it’s hilarious!
This incredible and inspiring story about Noah Lambrecht, an awesome young man who has overcome a lot of obstacles. Being the fastest or strongest is great, but it’s really not what life is all about. Warning, I cried my eyes out when I read his story.
THREE // Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 2
The wait for season two of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is almost over. Amazon finally announced that the series will return Wednesday, Dec. 5. I can’t wait to watch it!
FOUR // Harry Potter Dance
Have you seen this high schools performance of Harry Potter. WOW. The choreography is amazing and they performed it perfectly!!! It’s worth watching the entire thing…so save it for later if you’re at the office.
FIVE // Salt Fat Acid Heat
I’m about halfway through this Netflix show and it’s so good!! Samin Nosrat is a gem and a very skilled chef. Throughout the series, she walks you through the different elements of good cooking (i.e. salt, fat, acid, and heat). I wouldn’t recommend watching this while hungry because the food all looks amazing– homemade pesto, pasta by hand, and all the cheese.
