This was the first “real” week of 2019 and if it’s any indication of how the rest of the year is going to go, I’m feeling pretty good.
I started running again and spent the better part of the week hobbling around from soreness. My inbox is looking pretty good and I’m making headway on some of the first projects of 2019. The house is clean and organized! Yes, I’m all about a nice clean slate.
Here’s what’s been on my radar:
I LOVE to travel and I try to do it as often as I can. My aunt sent me the new destination trip with The Road Les Traveled, Lesley Murphy and I’m so sad I can’t go. They’re going to Argentina, staying in Buenos Aries, Los Glaciares National Park, and El Calafate. The trip looks amazing but unfortunately I’ve already got some big traveling plans with friends this summer. But this is definitely something I want to look into!
Did anyone else watch the Golden Globes this weekend? I only got a chance to watch the very end but I couldn’t stop laughing at all the pictures I was seeing on my feed about the Fiji Water girl who stole the red carpet by photobombing almost every red carpet shot.
There are so many things from this list that I agree are splurge worth. I bought myself the Kitchen aid this black Friday and 100% agree with the writer, I never want to cook without it again. Some of the other items I’ve been looking to splurge are on the list, they include the cast iron dutch oven and Air Pods. Another item not on the list that I’ve been considering is this weighted blanket.
FOUR // Ralph’s Coffee
I can’t wait for my next trip to NY for two reasons, the New York Marathon and the coffee shops! I’ve been dying to go to the Blue Box Cafe and now I’m adding the Ralph’s Coffee to my list! I can’t wait to check out their new location on the Upper East Side this spring. You can try the coffee before making a trip to the coffee shop by ordering online, they’ve got an entire section of Ralph’s Coffee goodies.
FIVE // Lambing Season
If you’re not already following Five Mary’s Farm, now would be a great time. They’re in the middle of lambing season and it’s just about the cutest thing ever. I love seeing the newborn lambs on her story.
