101 in 1001

Inspired by Mackenzie Horan, I have compiled a list of 101 things I want to accomplish in 1,001 days to help me live a more fulfilled life.

I used to do my yearly birthday lists but I missed publishing my 28 to 28 list this year, but I like the idea of creating a longer list with a longer timeline so I’m jumping on this idea. Let’s do this thing!

Personal Development

  1. Read at least 10 new to me books.
  2. Read 5 classics.
  3. Read 5 biographies.
  4. Vote in the 2020 elections
  5. Learn a new language. (I’m learning Greek!).
  6. Learn how to change a tire.
  7. Learn to take family photos and portraits. ( I started a photography business(!) and have taken some online classes to help me relearn and learn new skills).
  8. Organize my Pinterest Boards
  9. Create and stick with a budget
  10. Start an Emergency Fund
  11. Organize Digital Photos and Files

Professional

  1. Earn my Masters degree. (I start August 2020, all virtual but we’re getting there!).
  2. Get to know/meet other bloggers
  3. Attend a conference of any kind
  4. Do a collaboration blog post
  5. Build a professional wardrobe
  6. Create a Digital Arts Portfolio

Home (1/5) 

  1. Paint a room. (Adios pink, hello white).
  2. Compile my childhood photos & memories into one album
  3. Create a small gallery wall
  4. Frame photographs for the house
  5. Organize and redesign the back patio

Family & Friends

  1. Write “just because” letters to friends
  2. Mail care packages to brother and cousins (in college)

Health

  1. Run another full marathon
  2. Run another trail run
  3. Run Tough Mudder
  4. Take part in a triathlon
  5. Try a Hot Yoga Class
  6. Run a fun half marathon and dress up
  7. Exercise four times a week for at least a month
  8. Workout before work for at least 2 weeks
  9. Take vitamins everyday for at least one month
  10. Eat gluten free and dairy free for at least two weeks.

  1. Learn to cook 3 of my grandmothers meals or baked goods
  2. Bake Bread (How I baked sourdough bread)
  3. Make ten recipes off of Pinterest
  4. Turn my grandmother’s recipes into a book
  5. Buy a cookbook and try cooking all recipes
  6. Give Up alcohol for at least a month
  7. Make some homemade pasta
  8. Bake a Rainbow Cake
  9. Learn to make a signature cocktail
  10. Put together a charcuterie board
  11. Make ice cream from scratch
  12. Grow my own sourdough starter (How I made my sourdough starter)
  13.  Bake someone a birthday cake ( I baked my cousin a Red Velvet cake)
